I would like to share with you my personal journey in understanding and advocating for mental health. My family, consisting of my partner Tim, our daughter Maya, our son Noah, and the new addition we're expecting, has played a significant role in shaping my passion. For me, mental health is not just an interest—it is a deeply personal and meaningful aspect of my life.
My journey towards advocating for mental health began with my personal experiences. I have encountered various challenges related to my mental well-being, allowing me to develop empathy and a profound understanding of the struggles individuals face.
Through these experiences, I have come to appreciate the significance of support, understanding, and accessible resources. This understanding fuels my determination to create a society that prioritizes mental health wellness.
As I navigated my own mental health journey, I found solace and empowerment in educating myself about mental health. The knowledge I gained motivated me to start an Instagram page which is centered around mental health advocacy and support, sharing health tips, book recommendations, an open space to talk and positive affirmations. I continue to iimmerse myself in extensive research, devouring books, articles, holistic and scientific studies on mental health.
As our family continues to grow and evolve, so does my dedication to mental health and wellness advocacy. Looking to the future, we are committed to nurturing a mentally healthy environment for our children while continuing to advocate for positive change within society.
